I’m working hard on the final draft of Devil’s Bargain, book 3 in the Cass Leary series. A career police detective, Mr. James is my main technical advisor on all things related to police procedure and law enforcement culture. We had the good fortune to be able to get away for a Valentine’s Day dinner and a movie last night. It was great. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings and ordered their fabulous fried pickles. And…we plotted a murder over them. That’s not weird at all, right? 🙂In Devil’s Bargain, Cass’s client is a known mob hitman. So, we had to come up with something really unique about the way he carries out his hits. I think we outdid ourselves this time. Also, the fried pickles were amahzing!
Silent Witness is off to a great launch this week as well. I’m so grateful for all the positive feedback and support I’ve gotten from my new readers. I have at least 10 books planned in the Cass Leary series if all goes well. I can’t wait to share what I’m working on next.
